Otaku in Japan have found an fun way to spend their precious holiday time, instead of spending it with family and loved ones; spending the time with 2D plastic figures or “Waifu’s” has become a popular trend in some hardcore otaku circles.
Most of the pictures posted are from Japans infamous 2chan boards where on Christmas eve many post pictures of their setup, with their waifu or 2D girlfriend and try to make an elaborate meal usually featuring cake or chicken.
