3D gaming
Japan has joined the list of countries that are planning to begin broadcasting in 3D. The list includes countries such as the U.S, U.K and south Korea which plan to begin 3D broadcasting as well.
Japan’s Sky Perfect Communications plans to launch 3D broadcasting in the middle of this year with two to three programs per month, it said Wednesday
Since 3D programming will be starting out slowly things such as sports events, movies and gaming will be the main focus.
The first Blu-ray Disc players capable of 3D are also due out this year and Sony has promised to provide a software upgrade to its PlayStation 3 that will add 3D gaming capability.
With the new software upgrade to the Ps3, it will be able to play games in 3D giving it an edge over it’s competitors.
Gaming in 3D will be revolutionary but it seems were still stuck with the glasses
