Bakemonogatari Sells 46,000 copies

Bakemonogatari Vol. 5 blu-ray sold 46,000 copies; slightly less then Vol 4 which sold 48,000 copies in its first week, but still enough to stampede on K-On! which sold a measly 31,000 copies for it’s 7th blu- ray disk release.
The first three Bakemonogatari volumes sold 29,000, 39,000, and 41,000 copies, respectively.
Bakemonogatari Vol. 4 which sold 48,000 copies was close to being the top sold anime blu-ray disk in its first week, but it lost by a mere 1,000 copies to Evangelion 1.11: You Are (Not) Alone film.
