The huge 18 meter tall Gundam statue that was placed in Odaiba last summer will be placed near the tracks of the JR at Higashi Shizuoka station this summer. It will be put on display from July, but for how long is still unknown. The Gundam was used to help promote Tokyo for the 2016 Olympic Games, but when Rio de Janeiro was chosen the Gundam was dismantled. Now with new hopes for the Gundam it will be reassembled and placed at Shizuoka.
